Represent TTMDA as a Djembe instructor to teach and advise beginner students.
To Become One
- Complete Djembe and Dunun Levels 1, 2 and 3
- Sit for Djembe Instructor test with Certified Teacher
- Submit a short video (5-7 mins) of you teaching a Beginner class
Djembe Instructor Test Requirements
- Demonstrate all parts of Garangedon
- Demonstrate all parts of Soli Des Manian
- Demonstrate all parts of 3 randomly selected rhythms
- 10 rhythm breaks as taught by Mamady:
- Moribayassa
- Djole
- Toro
- Denadon
- Sofa
- Kuku
- Djagbe
- Soliwoulen
- Sunun
- Djansa
Commitments
- Attend teacher’s training by Certified Teachers annually
- Annual fee to support TTMDA community
